People create systemmates to socialize with in their own societies to escape from the dystopia that is the present world and as a result diverge from the status quo without any cues whatsoever.

Nope.

There was a method we used that involves liquid. Basically, I become a "liquid" that slowly starts to fill up my host's body in a way. It's like being submerged in water but the other way around. I was told of this method, so I don't know the source/guide on it.

You should know possession first before going into switching.

There aren't any good guides for switching because nobody can explain how to actually get the host to switch out other than with useless symbolism

I wouldn't call symbolism useless. It may be shunned, but it can help.

I think this symbolic method is equally useful for possession. Also, symbolic methods... I think they aren't very useful if you don't understand switching or achieve it already.

And about understanding switching, I don't know if we even have consensus about what exactly switching is in community.
